National pilates franchise Club Pilates on Thursday, September 6 opened in Sandy Springs.
For the opening weekend, the studio, at 5968 Roswell Road, will be offering 20 percent off memberships for the first three months, and free introductory classes.
A grand opening celebration is planned for October.
The Sandy Springs Club Pilates is co-owned by Sheila Granda, Matt Omiatek and Kellen Stennett.
They are also the co-owners of the Buckhead and Brookhaven Club Pilates studios.
“We wanted to expand Club Pilates’ reach in the Atlanta area because we recognized the need for inclusive, affordable workout options,” Kellen said in a prepared statement Wednesday.
“Pilates is something anyone of any age, body type and athletic ability can participate in. The environment is calm and inviting and the group classes take place in a comfortable setting. We are eager to help make Pilates accessible to the residents of Sandy Springs.”
The franchise has more than 300 locations in 37 states including the recently-opened Toco Hills outpost.
