The clinic at 1230 W Peachtree Street NW is set to open on Aug. 12, 2024. It will provide diverse pet health services, including preventative care, diagnostics, surgical procedures, grooming, dental treatments and advanced surgical options.

Dr. Cathy Fish will lead CityVet Midtown. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. She brings more than 20 years of experience, having worked at several veterinary hospitals and owning her practice.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring CityVet to Midtown,” Dr. Fish said about the new location. “Personally, I was attracted to CityVet because of its thorough support system, which I found lacking when I owned my own practice. Joining CityVet allows me to focus on veterinary care while leveraging their expertise in practice management. Their core values are refreshingly simple yet crucial – often overlooked in today’s corporate landscape within our field.”

CityVet was founded in 1999 by Dr. Chip Cannon with the mission to create client-centered, quality pet care. CityVet has clinics in Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Virginia and Oklahoma, providing vet care, boarding, grooming and healthy pet foods.

CityVet opened in Chamblee in July 2024.

“Our rapid growth in Atlanta highlights the strong demand for compassionate and personalized pet services in the area,” CityVet President and CEO David Boguslawski said in a news release. “Opening our second location in greater Atlanta, just a month after our first clinic, is incredibly exciting and reflects how quickly we are expanding to meet pet owners’ needs.”
