Chewy Vet Care is expected to open later this year at Halcyon, a mixed-use development in Alpharetta led by RocaPoint Partners.
Chewy is an online retail brand that began expanding into brick-and-mortar veterinary locations this year. The company announced its first two metro Atlanta practices earlier this year in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, which are now open. Chewy Vet Care also has locations in Denver and South Florida.
The practice offers an array of pet services, from routine wellness care to urgent care and surgeries. In-person visits are available six days a week, complemented by 24/7 virtual health guidance and mobile access to medical records, care plans, prescriptions and appointment scheduling via an online pet portal.
“We are excited to open our third Chewy Vet Care location in Atlanta, which consistently ranks as one of the most pet-friendly cities in the country,” Chewy Health President Mita Malhotra said in a press release. “Our newest location at Halcyon represents our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional, personalized veterinary care throughout the region. We look forward to serving even more pets and their parents in this vibrant community.”
Chewy Vet Care joins other pet-focused businesses at Halcyon, including dog-boarding and spa facility Dogtopia and retailer Unexpected Pooch.
“We care deeply about our community at Halcyon, and a big part of that community is pets,” said Phil Mays, principal of RocaPoint Partners. “Chewy Vet Care brings a recognizable brand and a convenient and personalized experience that complements our pet-friendly tenant mix – providing essential services to Halcyon’s residents and visitors and their beloved furry companions.”
Chewy Vet Care will be located within Halcyon’s Phase III on the Big Creek Greenway trailhead side, near the intersection of Oak Farm Drive and McFarland Parkway.
