Chopt Creative Salad Co., a fast-casual salad concept, will open its first Atlanta location Friday, June 22.

A private preview is being held Wednesday, and a soft-opening (“Chopt Give Days”) for the public is slated for Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

All customers who make a monetary donation to its charitable partner the Atlanta Community Food Bank will receive a free salad during Chopt Give Days.

Regular business hours will begin Friday.

Salads include options like the Nashville Hot Chicken Caesar (Nashville hot chicken, dill-pickled green beans, celery, biscuit bottom crackers, romaine with Buttermilk-Chive Caesar Dressing) and a Cape Cod Shrimp Roll Salad (Wild-caught Sea to Table shrimp, heirloom tomatoes, pickled radishes, celery, oyster crackers, summer lettuce blend, romaine with Green Goddess Dressing).

In addition to its classic and build-your-own salad options, Chopt visits a new destination every 60 days, creating limited-time only salads inspired by locations near and far.

The Toco Hills location will open with Destination American Road Trip, a “showcase of some of the greatest regional flavors that America has to offer,” according to a press release Wednesday.

18 made-from-scratch dressings, ranging from avocado-based Mexican Goddess to Basil Mint Vinaigrette, are all made fresh daily.

The brand also builds partnerships with regional artisans and purveyors inside each of its communities, like Golda Kombucha and General Muir artisanal bread, to add a local emphasis exclusive to each menu.

“We’re incredibly excited to open our first Atlanta location in Toco Hills where we believe Chopt will be a welcome addition to the food scene,” Colin McCabe, Chopt Co-founder, said in the release.

“The Toco Hills community is made up of people who want to eat well without sacrificing flavor, and who have a passion for wellness and great knowledge about food in general. We look forward to opening our doors to serve them.”

The new location features over 60 seats, including communal dining areas, booth seating, and wallpaper created in partnership with Batabasta, a Spanish design duo.

The store, at 2935-C North Druid Hills Road, will be open daily 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
