The closure was announced on Butter and Cream’s Facebook page.

“It is with a heavy heart that we tell you our building in Roswell has been purchased and will be demolished this fall,” according to the social media post.

“We will close later in September. We look forward to serving you until we close…”

An exact closing date will be announced “soon along with our future plans for Roswell.”

Butter and Cream’s shop in Decatur and its newly-opened Old Fourth Ward outpost will remain open for business.

Owner Stacy Wisniewski did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
