According to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta, Burlington is going into the commercial space at 1235 Caroline Street NE, with remodeling and maintenance work needed at the site.

The store is one of dozens of Bed Bath & Beyond leases that Burlington snagged this year for more than $13 million, several of which are in Georgia: Atlanta, Duluth and Warner Robins. The Duluth store, at 3675 Satellite Blvd, is expected to open next month.

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is a low-price retailer that sells apparel, home goods and other items.

The Edgewood store is 23,321 square feet, according to the building permit application. It’s not yet clear when the store would be open. Several Burlington representatives could not immediately be reached for comment.
