“It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this information,” according to the social media post. “We want to thank you for for all the years of support that you have given us, it has not gone unnoticed. Without you, there would have been no us.”

The owners did not provide a reason why Battle and Brew is closing and did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.

A GoFundMe page was setup to raise funds to save the game bar but has since been deleted.

No word on what might open in Battle and Brew’s place.

  1. I always wanted to check this place out but I never made it out there. I wondered about its location. I feel like this type of place would have done much better located in town somewhere near the Georgia Tech and GA State campuses.

    1. Agreed. That area in Sandy Springs is full of old timers and people who have fully settled down. It’s in the suburbs with a lot of old people and young families. On top of that, it’s not situated in the middle of a commercial district. For the type of fun B&B advertises, it would do better in Midtown where most of its intended demographic tends to work, play, and live.
