The bottle shop and growler bar will be situated in the Enso apartment building in Glenwood Park, at 880 Glenwood Ave SE Suite B.
Atlanta Beer Boutique’s forthcoming corner unit is right next door to 3 Parks Wine Shop and across the street diagonally from Gunshow.
“I live in East Atlanta Village and wanted to be close to home (it’s only one mile away),” Price in an email told What Now Atlanta.
“There’s great pedestrian activity in the area, and that is really important to me. And there’s good residential density in the area, as well.”
While the address is on Glenwood, Atlanta Beer Boutique will front Bill Kennedy Way, which is part of the Atlanta Beltline’s future Southside Trail (this portion will be “on-road”).
“My space will be small and intimate and I want it to be the neighborhood beer shop for the folks who live within walking distance.”
Atlanta Beer Boutique will focus on Georgia-brewed beers and will feature brews from around the world.
A small market area will retail beer-related goods and other wares.
The bar area, which will also be used as a classroom and events space, will offer guests a place to taste-test and purchase and refill growlers.
Price launched a Kickstarter for Atlanta Beer Boutique in early-2018.
Last May, the entrepreneur completed the campaign after collecting $30,100 from 348 backers and started her search for a space.
At one point Price was looking at opening Atlanta Beer Boutique in the former Bond Organic Market space.
