Ray’s In The CityRay Schoenbaum‘s Downtown restaurant, filed plans with the City of Atlanta this week for $500,000 in renovations on all 10,400-square-feet of the space.

Schoenbaum declined to say when the pending renovations would take place or reveal specifics regarding their purpose in a telephone conversation with What Now Atlanta (WNA) this week.

The seafood eatery is one of three Ray’s Restaurants in the Atlanta metro area along with Ray’s On The River in Sandy Springs and Ray’s At Killer Creek in Alpharetta.

Ray’s in the City opened in 2002 as the second of the three “Ray’s” after the flagship Ray’s On The River.

Additional Ray’s Restaurants representatives were not immediately available for comment.
