Texas-based parent company Front Burner Restaurants now through January 2020 is taking bids from potential construction partners to build out the new Perimeter Mall “farm to fork” restaurant, according to plans obtained by What Now Atlanta.

The Perimeter Mall outpost will open in place of Cowfish Burger Sushi Bar, which closed at the onset of 2019.

There are currently five Whiskey Cake locations across Texas (pictured below) and in Tampa and Oklahoma City.

Sixty Vines, a wine bar and restaurant that’s also a Front Burner brand, will join Whiskey Cake in opening its first Atlanta market store next year in Dunwoody.

The wine bar and restaurant concept will be located near the intersection of Perimeter Center West and Ashford Dunwoody Road at Perimeter Mall.

In related news, while Perimeter Mall is gaining new businesses, it is losing one of its marquee tenants—Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria.

[Editor’s note: an earlier version of this article incorrectly listed parent company Front Burner as Front Runner.]
