Vitality Bowls Planned for Buford

Buford appears to be getting a new health food spot.

The fast-casual franchise Vitality Bowls is planned for 3320 Hamilton Mill Road, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County. The 1,145-square-foot space is located in a shopping center with a Kroger.

The menu includes açaí bowls, smoothies and juices, as well as savory items like salads, grain bowls, toast, wraps and paninis.

The company was founded in 2011 in San Ramon, California, and began franchising in 2014. According to the website, Vitality Bowls now has more than 75 locations across the United States. It was created “out of a strong commitment to bring health and wellness to every community across the country through fresh, high-quality superfoods.”

The new location’s owner, Angel German, confirmed that Vitality Bowls in the works in Buford, but said there is no projected date for the opening yet.

Vitality Bowls can currently be found in Alpharetta at 364 Commerce Street. According to the website, another Georgia location is planned for Suwanee at 3120 Mathis Airport Parkway. There was formerly a location in Midtown that closed in 2020.
