The company’s founders Moez “Moe” Hasni and Salman “Sam” Badruddin, opened the franchise’s first location in Colliers Hills off Defoors Road and the second location on Piedmont Avenue.

Urban Wings in East Atlanta will hold a grand opening community event on Dec. 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Falcons tailgate-themed grand opening will include food and drink samples, free wings coupons, and more for all attendees. Spots can be reserved online.

Urban Wings serves chicken from Springer Mountain, an American Humane Certified farm widely known for its natural, gluten-free chicken and dedication to providing their chickens with a quality life and healthy diet. The chicken at Urban Wings is never frozen and is all-natural.

The menu includes boneless and bone-in wings, chicken tenders, panko shrimp and chicken sandwiches. Vegan options include vegan bone-in wings, nuggets and tenders. There are also 18 sides, including curly fries, mozzarella sticks and jalapeño bites, as well as 30 sauces. Dessert options include fried cheesecake and beignets.

“We have been blown away by the demand for our concept and are looking forward to making our presence known in East Atlanta with close proximity to Mercedes Benz stadium – making us a no brainer for tailgaters and more,” Hasni said in a press release.
