To be located at 4340 East-West Connector #200, in Smyrna, the fast casual restaurant may look for further expansion if things go well.

“We’re always on the lookout for new locations,” Owner Shane Cawthorn told What Now Atlanta Tuesday.

The new 2,400 square foot space will require some renovations and light demolition work, which Cawthorn said would cost around $400,000 and take four months to complete.

“Our target opening date is for mid-July,” he added.

Moving into space previously occupied by Uncle Maddio’s Pizza, Cawthorn looked at several locations before settling on the 4340 East-West Connector as the best next home. Other businesses in the shopping center include Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, Sprouts, Krispy Kreme, and more.

Cawthorn said the traffic count and neighborhood were ultimately the deciding factors in picking this spot for the Twisted Kitchen.

Twisted Kitchen opened its first location in 2012 at 125 E. Barrett Pkwy near Kennesaw State University and opened a second location in Kennesaw at Georgia Tech’s University House Midtown in 2015.
