“We’ve been ready to open since August. All the equipment and entire design is ready to go,” Cohen told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Tuesday.

“We’re just waiting on the permitting, but we should be open within 60 days.”

Cohen owned New York Pizza Exchange in Vinings for 25 years before selling it in 2005.

“Around then my son became a world-class swimmer, and traveling with him I noticed that there weren’t any options for active students want to eat fast but not fast food.”

Twisted Kitchen was born and opened its first location in 2012 at 125 East Barrett Parkway near Kennesaw State University.

The new 2,334-square-foot location near Georgia Tech will be located next to Insomnia Cookies and feature the same high-carb menu as the Kennesaw location.

Sounds like spring semester in Midtown will be Twisted!
