Part VW Beetle, part “lunchbox trailer,” the foodtruck will serve soft tacos with international flavor, according to Dean Gebert, The Taco Buggy co-owner.

“The concept is unique, just like the vehicle,” Gebert told What Now Atlanta in an email.

Here’s how it works:

1. Pick one of three meats

  • Ribeye Steak
  • Chicken Breast
  • Pulled Pork

2. Pick one of five flavors

  • Stinkin’ Incan – tomato, onion, cilantro, topped with french fries
  • Chipotle Off the Ol’ Block – onion, avocado, cilantro, with chipotle sauce
  • Ricky Bobby – poblano coleslaw, tomato, with Texas BBQ sauce
  • Dirty Sanchez – black bean and red onion salsa, with spicy chimichurry sauce
  • Taco On the Beach – roasted pineapple-mango relish, goat cheese, cilantro

3. Orders are taken by iPad

A flatscreen located inside the cart will play old black-and-white comedies, like Laurel and Hardy, Little Rascals and The 3 Stooges.

“It’s all part of making Taco Buggy a fun and delicious street food experience.”

Keep up with the buggy’s whereabouts and launch on it’s Facebook page.
