Seoul K BBQ Breakers Express is a spin-off of Duluth favorite, Breakers Korean BBQ.

One location will be located at 3030 Headland Drive Southwest, in the Greenbriar Crossing shopping plaza to the left of Kroger. Bobby Kim told WNA that this location will open this Saturday. The other new location will be in West End, at 848 Oak Street Southwest, and will open “at the end of this month.” Currently, Seoul K BBQ Breakers Express has two existing locations in Lilburn and Conyers.

“Many of our customers living near the airport and in Marietta drive a long way to dine at Breakers. We wanted to bring our business closer to them and offer them a more casual, easy and affordable way to enjoy our food,” Shin told WNA on Tuesday. He also communicated that the more casual Seoul K BBQ Breakers Express was an attractive venture because locations will be easier to open and operate.

The spin-offs will also feature more healthy options in addition to Korean tacos, as well as the Bulgogi burger, a Seoul K BBQ Breakers Express favorite. “Everything on the menu will be under $10.

The interior design of the new restaurants will feature Korean patterns inspired by the heritage of the restaurant owners.

Bobby Kim was always passionate about sharing the culture of his home country of Korea stateside. Before working in the restaurant industry, Grandmaster Bobby Kim was the owner of 130 Taekwondo studios nationwide. Together with son David Kim, he also founded C2 Education, a test prep tutoring company, which currently has 200 locations.

After retirement, Bobby and David along with Shin opened Breakers Korean BBQ, arguably one of the hottest Korean BBQ restaurants in the Atlanta area. Shin has 13 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
