The national chain’s storefront at 4362 Roswell Road NE will undergo renovations in the form of new exterior doors, new interior non-load bearing walls, exterior in-fill walls, and new kitchen equipment, among other alterations. The cost of construction for renovations to the 4,322 square-foot restaurant is estimated at $300,000.

This particular McDonald’s is one of 10 locations owned by Double V Restaurants, Inc, a family-owned company franchising in the greater Atlanta-area. The company was co-founded by Kellie and Andy Vander Veur and operates one other Atlanta location, as well as locations in Canton, Norcross, Blue Ridge, East Ellijay, Kennesaw, and Jasper.

We reached out to Double V Restaurants CFO Tonya Laforett for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication, so it remains unclear if the restaurant will close for renovations or remain open throughout. The timeline for the renovations is also currently unknown.

You can keep an eye on the Roswell Road storefront by finding the location on social media.
