Owner told What Now Atlanta (WNA) on Thursday that she thinks Atlanta has a great market for locally and ethically sourced food. All bakery items will be made with seasonal ingredients.

Revel Pastry Company and Cacao have history together: Everett told WNA that she has been using their chocolate in her pastries since May of last year, after connecting with the company on Instagram. The two share the same ethos for business and value high-quality ingredients.

Everett plans to hold pastry-making classes every month.

Revel Pastry Company will open on Monday, and there will be a preview this weekend where guests may enjoy free samples.

As for Virginia Highland, Highland Eye Boutique confirmed last week that their store will be moving into the area in the space previously occupied by Chico’s, which shuttered at the beginning of this week. The exit of Chico’s and the incoming of Revel Pastry Company and Highland Eye Boutique into the area as well as the recent addition of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit may symbolize the re-emergence of smaller, more independent businesses in the pedestrian-friendly area.
