A 2,419 sq. ft. space at 3247 Roswell Rd. NE is being renovated to make way for a new Buckhead restaurant. The space, which housed Rock ‘N’ Taco before they moved to Roswell, will undergo about $10,000 worth of interior demolition to the existing finishes to be put in a white box state for the restaurant tenant to outfit.

The restaurant is tentatively called Beso and is currently planned as a Latin cuisine concept. However, the restaurant’s name and concept may change before the restaurant’s owners take over their white boxed space. The restaurant’s owners declined to offer details on Beso so early in the planning stage. The owner of the property, which also once housed Shane’s Rib Shack, is listed as Cartel Properties on the building application.

The free-standing restaurant space has a 235 sq ft. patio and 830 sq. ft. rooftop. It is located at the corner of Roswell Road and East Andrews and is next to the future site of the Dream Hotel mixed-use project, according to LoopNet. Atlanta Curbed reports that Dream Hotel will house 45 private residences, five restaurants and nightlife concepts, as well as 80,000 sq. ft. of office and retail space on 2.5 acres. The project also boasts 200 hotel rooms, a rooftop pool deck, and a 17,000 sq. ft. lounge.
