While “Olympus Restaurant” is listed in the SAP as the project name, at 3379 Peachtree Rd., renderings include the 5Church logo. The space was previously home to Sage Woodfire Tavern. Erik Lewitt of Plexus r + d submitted the application.
The scope of work includes construction of a new 1,246-square-foot glass and steel enclosure of an existing dining patio adjacent to the restaurant space within the high-rise office building. The interior of the restaurant will be renovated for the new restaurant operator.
Ayman Kamel, the operating principal of 5Church Midtown, in Colony Square, at 1197 Peachtree St. NE, is behind the new venture, the restaurateur confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta Wednesday. Details are still under wraps as the project is in the very early stages, and Kamel did not immediately confirm if the restaurant would in fact be a 5Church.
5Church Atlanta, a modern American restaurant, offers a casual yet refined dining experience at Atlanta’s busiest intersection. The Midtown restaurant combines a technique-driven menu with cutting-edge design and genuine hospitality.
