The barre brand plans to open its doors on December 7.
Tara Joiner, founder of Pink Barre, will open a new studio of the exercise brand at 996 Virginia Avenue in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.
“Women in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood and surrounding areas are very health conscious,” Joiner told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Tuesday. “It’s a perfect fit for us, and we fell in love with our new space immediately.”
The Virginia-Highland outpost will be Pink Barre’s fifth location after the company opened it first location at Emory Point in 2013.
The barre exercise method has caught on quickly, but given her background, Joiner isn’t surprised by the widespread public appeal.
“I was a physical therapist, and barre is the perfect balance between physical therapy and strength training. It’s cutting edge but also shares principles I used as a physical therapist.”
The new location plans to open on December 7.
