Adriana Park and Narit McCrary are the new owners of Pastries A Go Go at 235 Ponce De Leon Place, Decaturish.com reports.

McCrary is a co-owner of Siam Thai in Decatur, and Park is a former manager of D92.

Bob Light, who opened the cafe in 1995, was looking for owners with youth and personality who can bring in a new customer base while carrying on the traditions of Pastries A Go Go, according to the news outlet.

Light is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and he has worked as a pastry chef at several hospitality concepts.

Upon its opening almost 29 years ago, Pastries A Go Go served mostly baked goods and coffee before expanding the menu with more breakfast and lunch offerings like eggs, sandwiches and soup. (Fun fact: According to the cafe’s website, “Flour Sack” and “Rolling Pin” were considered as possible names for the establishment.) The shop was featured in Atlanta Magazine in 2001 for having one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city.

Pastries A Go Go moved into its current space in 2005, right across the street from the original one.

Customers can expect many of the same menu items they have come to know and love, but a renovation of the space might be in store, along with obtaining a liquor license in order to add items like mimosas to the menu, according to Decaturish.com. A new chef is also bringing donuts to the menu.
