SITE Centers has purchased Brookhaven Station, a 44,966-square-foot retail center located on Peachtree Street. Tenants include Chopt, Chick-fil-A, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Mellow Mushroom and more.

Brookhaven Station was built in 1985 and renovated in 2022 and 2023. It has a “dense daytime population” of nearly 190,000 within a three-mile radius, according to an announcement about the sale from JLL. It is located about one mile from Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza.

JLL worked on behalf of the seller, Hendon Properties. JLL Capital Market’s Investment Sales and Advisory team was led by Senior Managing Director Jim Hamilton, Managing Director Brad Buchanan and Director Andrew Kahn.

“Brookhaven Station was one of the most highly sought-after retail investment sales opportunities we’ve seen in 2024 due to the unique location, potential upside and lack of available retail properties for sale,” Hamilton said in a news release.

SITE Centers specializes in outdoor shopping centers located in suburban, high-income communities. Other Atlanta properties in the Ohio-based firm’s portfolio include Perimeter Pointe and Parkwood Shops.

Brookhaven Station is among four properties that SITE Centers acquired in Q3 of 2024. The company also acquired shopping centers in Cleveland, Ohio; Nashville, Tennessee; and Houston, Texas.
