The neighborhood food-and-beverage destination will offer fresh local produce, artisan sandwiches, novelty desserts, curated charcuterie options and a selection of curated wines, spirits and beers, according to an announcement.

Along with upscale grocery offerings, the new store will offer Savi Café’s selection of prepared foods and made-to-order meal options, including a variety of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, omelets and gourmet sandwiches for lunch and dinner.

The location is also introducing a new concept called “Mixtape,” inspired by sandwich shops and the diverse foods found in small bodegas across the U.S. Mixtape will feature fast, fresh and vibrant dishes, exploring different cultures (like songs on a mixtape).

This is the 16th location for Savi Provisions.

  1. Hey Libby, Not to be too picky, but the location of this Savi Market is in the Morningside neighborhood, not Virginia-Highland. The northern dividing line between the two neighborhoods is Amsterdam Avenue. North Highland Avenue does include many commercial nodes intermixed with residential blocks. These commercial nodes are interspersed along the corridor from Morningside in the north then south to Virginia-Highland, Poncey-Highland, Inman Park, and Old 4th Ward. Thanks for including the hyphen in Virginia-Highland. Not many reporters get that right. 🙂
