A building permit application indicates that a business called Status Barber Shop is planned for the Bogan Plaza shopping center.

A new barber shop appears to be in the works northeast of Atlanta.

Status Barber Shop is planned for 3616 S Bogan Road in Buford, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County.

The location is on the second level of a two-story shopping center called Bogan Plaza. According to LoopNet, the property was built in 2008. Tenants include Glow Beauty Lounge, Bogan Nail & Spa, Burn Boot Camp and more.

Status Barber Shop is proposed for suite 203 of the retail plaza. The shop would be 1,260 square feet, according to the building permit application. The listed owner could not immediately be reached for further information about the shop.
