A new mixed-use commercial and residential development is planned for 874 Rock Street, northwest of Downtown Atlanta.

According to a building permit application, the development will have three townhomes, as well as three spaces for retail tenants on the ground floor. The development contains 2,400 square feet of floor area and will stand three stories tall. The cost of construction is $500,000.

According to construction plans, the residential units will each have in-unit laundry, an outdoor deck, one full-bath and one half-bath.

It’s not yet clear what types of retail tenants are in mind for the commercial space.

A-Squared Renovations is the team behind the development of the project. President of Operations for A-Squared Renovations Andre Payne could not be reached immediately for comment. Gurley and Stradford, a company registered to Payne, is listed as the owner of the project.
