Minute Suites provide private suites inside security at airports where travelers can nap, relax or work before their flight and Hartsfield-Jackson was the first airport ever to have a Minute Suites location.

Construction is expected to begin later this year with a projected opening in quarter one of 2018, according to a press release this week.

Minute Suites is being brought to Atlanta through Business Traveler Services (BTS), operator and developer of business services, entertainment, and retail concepts across the country.

“Eight years ago, BTS was the first to understand the need for a sleep concept and to implement the idea at Hartsfield-Jackson,” Anita Leopold, Executive VP and Owner, BTS, said in the release.

“Today we are proud to expand this service to Concourse T to better accommodate the demand and need for our passengers. Minute Suites is now becoming a private oasis for travelers throughout the US as they expand to other airports.”

Minute Suites are also located in Philadelphia, Dallas/Fort Worth, (also 2 facilities) and are on schedule to begin building in Charlotte later this year.

The company plans to double in size by next year.

The new Concourse T location will have five suites in total. Suites are booked with a one-hour minimum followed by 15-minute increments along with an eight-hour day rate and a flat overnight rate option available.
