A local wine shop is growing, with a third location in the works in DeKalb County.
Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room is coming to 5348 Peachtree Road in Chamblee. This will be the first franchised location of the concept, with Lynn Hale at the helm.
“I’ve been an entrepreneur since my 20s, and this new venture is the most exciting yet,” Hale said in an announcement about the shop. “Combining my love of wine with my love of community is a dream come true.”
Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room first opened in Roswell in 2018, followed by a Woodstock location in 2023. The shops sell and serve a selection of wine.
Owner Dana Gurela became passionate about wine after a visit to Napa, attending wine school and working in wineries before launching the concept in Georgia.
Roswell-based firm Randall-Paulson Architects is the architect of record on the new Chamblee shop. The approximately 1,760-square-foot space is located in a one-story commercial building on Peachtree Road, across from the railroad tracks.
Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room is expected to open in Chamblee in late 2024.
