Iron Tribe Fitness will soon open their second Atlanta corporate location three miles away in the vibrant West Midtown community at 1409 Howell Mill Road.

The existing 3,717 square foot warehouse at the location will be transformed with renovations totaling $220,000, according to a commercial conversion permit filed with City of Atlanta.

“We have had great success with our location on Ponce De Leon Avenue. It’s such a vibrant community, we love the people, and we see a need in the West Midtown neighborhood,” Corbitt Chandler, VP of Marketing, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) on Wednesday.

, the owner of Iron Tribe Fitness, has been in the industry since 1996. He is a former Auburn University cheerleader, whose driving forces behind the Iron Tribe Fitness brand are his passion for personal fitness’s influence on overall wellness as well as creating communities where lives are changed.

Chandler told WNA on Wednesday that the accountability factor of fitness classes and exercising in groups is a focus for Iron Tribe Fitness. “We will offer classes in 45 minute blocks with 20 athletes per class, offering a full warm-up, workout, and cool-down.”

Iron Tribe Fitness also has two franchise locations in the Atlanta area located in East Cobb and Johns Creek. Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, the company has 40 locations nationwide, mainly in the Southeast, and hopes to have 50-55 locations open by the end of this year.

Iron Tribe Fitness in West Midtown plans to open in March of this year.
