An indoor pickleball franchise is coming to Georgia, with The Picklr expected to open this winter at The Collection at Forsyth in Cumming.

The club comes from WAYMOR SPORTS, the world’s largest indoor pickleball club franchisee/operator, with a focus on growing The Picklr throughout the Southeast.

The space will feature eight oversized, fully fenced courts; music and TVs on every court; professional coaching and instruction; locker rooms; and a private event space available to rent.

“Bringing The Picklr to Cumming means that the vibrant community here will now have the most elevated and unparalleled indoor pickleball experience offered anywhere,” Jay Sartori, WAYMOR SPORTS co-founder and chief marketing officer, said in a news release. “Our state-of-the-art clubs, with all-inclusive, one-price memberships, an optimal play environment, and our diverse programming for all ages and skill levels, make The Picklr the easy choice as your new pickleball home.”

Memberships include unlimited open play, participation in tournaments and leagues, four clinics per month, four guest passes per month, virtual court reservations and paddle demos.

The upcoming club in Cumming is expected to be the first of many locations of The Picklr in Georgia.

The Picklr was founded in Utah in 2021. More than 325 new locations are set to open across the U.S. by 2026.
