Big Softie will be located at 630 North Highland Avenue NE, next to Colette Bread and Bakeshop.

Sarah O’Brien is the owner of Big Softie, as well as Little Tart Bakeshop, a bakery with locations in Summerhill, in Grant Park and at Krog Street Market.

The news of Big Softie 2.0 was confirmed in an Instagram post. “We’re so excited to bring our soft serve to another corner of our wonderful city. Thank you to our incredible customers in Summerhill for supporting us since day one, and for giving us the confidence to open shop #2,” the caption said.

A late-summer opening is the target.

Big Softie’s existing location is at 66 Georgia Ave SE.
