Sweat EXT will be located next to the salad chain Sweetgreen at 650 North Avenue NE. According to a press release, Sweat EXT will host pop-up classes at Ponce City Market, including one on September 22, 2023, in collaboration with Lululemon to celebrate the fitness studio expanding to the Peach State.

Sweat EXT was created by the team behind Sweat Cycle, a heated cycling studio. Infrared heating technology warms up “the Hot Room” to 80-86 degrees Fahrenheit for a boost in athletic performance and increased sweating, according to the press release. The 45-minute workouts combine elements of pilates, barre, yoga and HIIT.

Sweat EXT’s original studio that opened in the spring is located in Studio City, California. The new Atlanta spot will be their first location outside the Los Angeles area.

Located in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Ponce City Market is an Atlanta hotspot with more residential, retail and office space in development.
