“I will be opening three Hattie Marie’s Texas Style BBQ and Cajun Kitchen,” Franchisee Etanya Lucas said in an email to What Now Atlanta. “The first location will be at 130 Clairemont Ave. Suite 100, in Decatur. It is opening May 2021.”

Two other locations are planned for the barbeque restaurant.

“The second location will be on Buford Drive, opening in the winter,” Lucas added. “The third location is to be determined.”

First moving into the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta in downtown Decatur, Hattie Marie’s will continue to serve handcrafted Texas BBQ with a menu full of meat plates, sandwiches, and meat by the pound.

Hattie Marie’s BBQ brings the flavor and essence of southeast Texas cooking to Georgia that one generation passed to the next.
