DAS BBQ is now fully open for business in Grant Park, at 350 Memorial Drive SE, Owner Stephen Franklin Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.
DAS BBQ replaces The Harp which closed shortly after its opening. As it is the second location for the barbecue joint, Franklin has aptly named the new restaurant DAS II.
“With over 80 indoor and 110 covered outdoor seats, DAS BBQ has plenty of room to promote several distinct socially-distanced environments with a litany of dining options for both individuals and groups of all sizes,” Franklin said. “The new smokehouse is the focal point of the barbecue experience at DAS II, offering a truly interactive experience for guests to enjoy.”
Out of its new smokehouse, the DAS II team will be offering regular classes and hands-on “pitmaster experiences to help promote barbecue education and knowledge-sharing among those who enjoy practicing the beloved craft of smoking meats in their own back yards.”
Serving Georgia- and Texas-style barbecue, DAS BBQ offers a menu of seven barrel-smoked meats and seven sides — with beef brisket and DAS Cream Corn as its signature combo.
The new location also offers beer, wine, and liquor from local favorites and national brands alike.
Initial hours of operations are Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
