First urban-concept QT to leverage prime corner spot with seating fronting Peachtree and 6th.
Earlier this year, Atlantans were fascinated at the prospect of a gas-less QuikTrip in the works in the Viewpoint building in Midtown.
Now, recently filed permits indicate that the location will feature outdoor dining, affording Midtowners the option to enjoy convenience-store-style grub al fresco.
Last week, a QuikTrip rep told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a statement that the urban-concept store, slated to open its doors June 23, will be the first in the country without fuel.
At the 3,500 square foot outpost, guests can expect fresh-made sub sandwiches (a new product), pizzas, pretzels, breakfast items, smoothies, frozen treats and more.
In true QuikTrip fashion, the store will operate 24/7. An opening date is set for June 23.

The upstairs seating belongs to Art of Touch.
Its kind of humorous to hear everyone keep referring to this as a “gas-less” store. Its just a convenience store which is certainly nothing new in other urban cities around the country. It sounds like QuikTrip is taking a page from Wawa which very popular in the northeast and has entered Florida. They have many convenience only stores including a “flagship” store in downtown Philadelphia.
There are also 50,000+ 7-11’s around the world,most without gas pumps. The idea of a convenience store was around long before gas stations started trying to squeeze more money out of the gas customers.
