Historic Roswell concept features 'Napa Technology Pouring Solutions,' hard-to-find boutique California vintages, packaged snacks.
Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room is set to open June 23, at 1055 Canton Street, in Historic Roswell.
The concept retails wines from California exclusively with a wide range of price points, including "hard-to-find boutique wines."
“It’s taken a little time and planning, but my dream business in Historic Roswell is finally becoming a reality,” Dana Gurela, the owner of Deep Roots Wine Market, said in a press release.
“I can’t wait to begin the first of many wine conversations with our guests.”
Gurela is a certified California Wine Appellation Specialist via the San Francisco Wine School with a Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 2 certification from the Napa Valley Wine Academy.
Customers can also take advantage of the Deep Roots Tasting Room’s self-guided wine tour via "Napa Technology wine pouring stations," sampling 1-, 3- or 6-oz. pours of 24 wines, using a reloadable pre-paid swipe card.
Pre-packaged bites for pairing including cured meats from The Spotted Trotter along with chicken salad, pimento cheese and baked goodies from Roswell’s popular Gluten Free Cutie, will also be available, in addition to assorted cheeses, crackers, jams, salads, hummus and baba ghanoush.
The space, design by California interior designer Tara Fust, has a Californian coastal feel.
“We want to take the stuffiness and pretense out of the wine sampling and purchasing process,” Gurela said.
“Everyone will feel at home at Deep Roots, whether you’re still learning about wine or eager to add bottles to your home collection.”
