CEO Kieran McGill is bringing the tried-and-true pub concept to the Medley, an upcoming mixed-use development spanning 43 acres.

Fadó Irish Pub is a part of the first 11 restaurants announced for the project. In a previous post by What Now Atlanta, it was noted that the developers behind the Medley have intentionally selected restaurants with a unique mix of experienced chef talent and new experiences for the community to enjoy.

The opening of the Johns Creek location will be the third Fadó Irish Pub in Atlanta. The other two Georgia locations are in Buckhead and Midtown.

Founded in 1996, the pub was formed by a group of Irish entrepreneurs who came to the United States intending to offer U.S. consumers the best of Dublin pubs.

According to the company website, Fadó (pronounced f’doe) is Gaelic for “long ago” and is commonly used to start a story, similar to “once upon a time.” And 27 years later, the pub still delivers with the same quality in mind.

McGill is leading the team in opening this new space with the familiar experience and menu offered at the other locations.

Fadó Irish Pub has three additional locations outside of Georgia in Columbus, Oh, Chicago, IL, and Philadelphia, PA. The restaurant opening in Johns Creek will bring the total locations to six.
