Paymore is planned for 4300 Buford Drive. The store comes from Salim and Amir Kaba, brothers who are part of a deal to bring three units of the electronics franchise to the Atlanta area.

Based in Massapequa, New York, Paymore aims to provide a “safe and convenient space for residents to buy, sell, and trade electronics.” They handle phones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more.

Paymore began franchising in 2020. Stephen Preuss, co-founder and CEO, has said the company currently has 36 stores open across 16 states, with 100 stores across 29 states expected by the end of the year.

The new Buford store will be 1,650 square feet, according to a Gwinnett County building permit application. It will be located in the Buford Mall shopping center, which also contains TNT Fireworks, Lee’s Golden Buddha, Subway and more.

There is an existing Paymore store in Doraville at the Pinetree Plaza shopping center.
