The sixth location of Henri’s Bakery & Deli is set to open in Clayton this fall, serving pastries, desserts, handmade breads and a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
“We can’t wait to be in Clayton,” said Anthony DiNardo, president of Henri’s Bakery & Deli. “We have been working hard with our partners on this project for the last year, and we are excited to see it come to life.”
Henri Fiscus established Henri’s Bakery in 1929. Originally born in France, Fiscus came to Atlanta in the 1920s, where he worked as a pastry chef at the Biltmore Hotel. He eventually purchased a French bakery in Midtown that would later become the original location of Henri’s Bakery.
Henri’s Bakery & Deli can currently be found in Buckhead, the Upper Westside, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs and Peachtree Corners.
The upcoming location in Clayton will be at 100 S Main Street. Construction for the remodel of the new space is expected to begin soon, according to an announcement.
“We will follow the same model as our other locations, with a few enhancements,” said Joel Keller, chief operating officer of Henri’s Bakery & Deli. “One new addition includes a market component, which will provide some great new items for our guests.”
