“We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause,” according to an announcement on its website, adding that customers still craving the sandwich stylings by Puerto Rican Chef Hector Santiago, can still get their fix at the second El Super Pan location at The Battery Atlanta.

The Battery location offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days per week, with the addition of “El Menu del Dia,” a changing menu of Caribbean eats.

El Super Pan opened its first sandwich bar in November 2015 at Ponce City Market as a collaboration with Jason Mann and George Frangos, founders of Farm Burger.

Chef Pedro Matos, formerly of Pura Vida and Cakes & Ale, joined Santiago in the kitchen.

The 800-square-foot spot was open for lunch and dinner.
