The 30-year-old location, at 3100 S Cobb Dr. SE, has been expanded and updated to reopen with the chain’s newest design, according to a press release this week.

“Restaurant guests will appreciate the new vintage heritage interior design, larger dining room tables, and a newly designed centerline kitchen with increased capacity,” a company spokesperson in an email told What Now Atlanta.

The drive-thru system at Chick-Fil-A South Cobb Drive has also been expanded with face-to-face ordering.

Inside, guests will find new finishes including subway tile and large windows as well as a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood, and a custom light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles.

The new nearly 5,000-square-foot rebuilt restaurant seats 120.

Chick-Fil-A South Cobb Drive is owned and operated by local franchise Stephen Miltiades.

A Chick-Fil-A in Douglasville will also reopen Thursday after being rebuilt from the ground up.

Situated at 5888 Fairburn Road, the restaurant will offer an updated drive-thru layout with expanded face-to-face ordering, a covered patio with seating for 16, and five walkup ordering windows.
