Caribou Coffee is set to open March 20, 2024. The new coffeehouse is located near the intersection of Barrett Lakes Boulevard and Chastain Road.

This is the second Caribou Coffee to open this year in Georgia, following the location in Milton, which celebrated its grand opening in January. Currently, there are seven Caribou Coffee coffeehouses in the metro Atlanta area, with another planned to open in Loganville later this month.

The full-service coffeehouse in Kennesaw will feature both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, as well as a drive-thru. The menu will include the recently launched spring specials, featuring five new handcrafted beverages made with real lavender. Food options include breakfast sandwiches and bakery options.

Guests who visit the new location during the grand opening celebration – Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 31 – can take advantage of 10 days of offers when ordering in-person. Each day will be a new offer highlighting menu items or giveaways while supplies last.

Grand opening deals include:

  • Friday, March 22: Free tumbler giveaway with a purchase to the first 100 guests
  • Saturday, March 23: Free scratch-off giveaway with a purchase to the first 200 guests
  • Sunday, March 24: 50% off Mocha beverages
  • Monday, March 25: $3 large Espresso Shaker
  • Tuesday, March 26: 50% off Crafted Press or Cold Press beverages
  • Wednesday, March 27: 100 bonus points to Caribou Perks members with purchase

  • Friday, March 29: $3 large Caramel High Rise
  • Saturday, March 30: Free Cake Pop with large or extra-large beverage purchase
  • Sunday, March 31: 50% off Latte beverages

Additionally, for every transaction during grand opening weekend (March 23 and March 24), $1 will be donated to C.H.O.I.C.E.S. in supporting their mission of combating childhood obesity through nutrition education while fighting food insecurity.

Caribou Coffee in Kennesaw will be open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

  1. That map image is misleading. This place is replacing the Burger King on the corner of Barrett Lakes & Chastain. For some reason the map image shows the shop in the grassy area off the exit from 75 N.

  2. You forgot to mention “owned by German conglomerate JAB who also owns Stumptown, Intelligentsia, Peet’s Coffee, Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and many other previously American owned cafes.” I’m glad we can make some more money for that European billionaire brother sister sibling group.

  3. The staff was very attentive and pleasant especially a lady name Kia ,she moved nonstop and the suggestions she gave us was right on point. The Carmel High-rise, and the Turkey Provolone was excellent! The coffee was better than Starbucks, it is smooth not harsh and the sandwich was great! You can have your coffee and your breakfast too on the run. I give this shop 5 stars. You go Caribou, we need more of you in Ohio.
