A.D. Allushi, owner of ADI Restaurant Concepts, has quite the qualifications for opening what hopes to be the newest Buckhead hot spot. Allushi has been the general manager for Market at W Buckhead as well as general manager and operating partner at Thrive restaurant. He also spent many years with Buckhead Life Restaurant Group: sommelier and beverage manager at Bluepointe, the dining room manager at Pano and Paul’s and the maître d’ and dining room manager at Kyma and Veni Vedi Vici.

Buckhead Bottle Bar will be opening in the space that was most recently Che Tapas and Rum Bar and Peachtree Café before that. With 6000 square footage available, BBB will open as a nightclub, bar, restaurant and banquet hall. Allushi says that BBB will define high energy in a casual bar setting with fare that includes sandwiches, simple bites and other bar food priced very inexpensively.

With several DJ booths and a total of four bars (two inside, one on the second floor patio and one outside), interior designer Patti Krohngold has quite the workload ahead of her. Best known for work at Tongue and Groove, Mumbo Jumbo and Fusebox here in Atlanta, Krohngold has plans for the space that include the utilization of tall tables to bring high energy that will keep guests moving. The color palette for the interior will consist of brown and green varieties – presumably to signify the olive sheen of most wine and liquor bottles. “There will be a lot of electronics and frosted bottles with lights,” Allushi says. The logo will be made into a three-dimensional sign consisting of three bottles using lights to give the effect of filling up and emptying out.

Complimentary valet parking will be provided accessing the empty Hifi Buys parking across Bolling — a lease has been taken out on that space as well. With the original entrance on E. Paces Ferry road, the new main entrance will be on Bolling to ease the parking situation.

With just three weeks left before the build-out is complete and Krohngold begins designing, Allushi is excited to see this historic building brought back to its original grandeur. “I’m restoring this neighborhood favorite and am thrilled to bring brunch back on Sunday.”
