Atlanta-based restaurant group files plans for eatery’s third location.
Fifth Group Restaurants is progressing plans to open its South City Kitchen concept in Buckhead.
A building permit application was filed with City of Atlanta for commercial alterations to space in the Capital City Plaza, at 3350 Peachtree Street, for a location of the brand’s longest-running concept.
The 6,000-square-foot space could receive an updated storefront, patio and mezzanine, for the new restaurant. Atlanta-based design firm ASD is delivering on the project’s architecture.
Fifth Group first opened South City Kitchen in April 1993 on Crescent Avenue in Midtown.
The restaurant group owns and operates Ecco, Lure, Alma Cocina, La Tavola, The Original El Taco, catering company Bold American Events, and South City Kitchen with locations in Midtown and Vinnings.
Fifth Group is looking to add a total of five new restaurants by 2020 taking the company’s total number of locations from seven to 12.
