When Wok Chi Asian Kitchen & Crab House opens on Marietta St. NW, it will be in good company among other businesses and eateries like Thumbs Up Diner, Cheba Hut, and Wingnuts. Chi Kong’s new eatery will debut at 800 Marietta St in suite F, which is located on the ground floor of a five-story apartment building.

License intel obtained by What Now Atlanta indicates the restaurant is currently in the liquor licensing phase. An application submitted for Wok Chi shares the eatery will have a 40 patron capacity and be open from 11AM to 11PM.

The kitchen is 800 square feet and fully equipped with two fryers, a range, and wok burners. The set up will bring “the freshest and highest quality Asian Dishes to ATL.” The eatery as a whole comprises 2,020 square feet.

Although Wok Chi’s website indicates it will open next month, while speaking with What Now Atlanta, Kong shared Wok Chi will likely open in the next two to three months. According to the liquor license application, Kong brings 15 years of small business experience to the project.
