Steve Josovitz of Atlanta-based real estate company The Shumacher Group facilitated the transaction.

The restaurant located at 710 Peachtree Street NE is being rebranded into Belly Restaurant and Lounge. An online menu for the restaurant was not available, but the establishment is listed as “Contemporary American” on OpenTable.

The property is 7,000 square feet and has room to seat more than 100 diners. The space includes several bars and a private lounge. It’s located near the Fox Theatre and the Tech Square neighborhood.

The restaurant’s new owner Shirley Hayes could not be reached for comment.

V Restaurant and Lounge had served “elevated comfort foods” for brunch and dinner, as well as drinks and hookah.
