Visitors to The Collection at Forsyth will have a new place to relax, recenter and renew when Spavia Day Spa officially opens at the shopping center in March.
Spavia Day Spa at The Collection will be located at 410 Peachtree Parkway in suite 222. The health and wellness center offers accessible luxury spa treatments, like massage and skin care treatments, body wraps, waxing, lash extensions and more.
Husband-and-wife team Loni and Suobo Richards are bringing the concept to Cumming.
Loni is a Navy Veteran, CEO of the nonprofit Service After Service, model, actress, producer and author. Suobo is an Air Force veteran, former chemical engineer, author and business consultant.
Loni Richards told What Now Atlanta they really resonated with Spavia’s commitment to giving back, like with the Spavia Cares program.
“What really took it to the next level for us was Spavia requires any vendor on our retail shelves to have a community footprint,” she said. “That really meant something. We’re all about getting back into the community and giving back. For a brand that already has that mindset in everybody they work with and touch, that fit with what we do.”
She said they’re excited to open at the shopping center with a great lineup of tenants that make it possible for visitors to make a whole day of it, from self-care to dining to entertainment.
“Cumming is a vibrant, growing community, and there’s a lot of opportunity for people that live in this area to really get out and enjoy themselves,” she said.
Spavia Day Spa at The Collection also aims to be a place to get your makeup done, a service not always offered by spas, using skin-friendly products with no harsh ingredients.
Spavia offers three monthly membership levels, and retail items like skincare, lotions, candles, jewelry, recovery tools and more are available to purchase. The new location at The Collection is offering a special founding-member rate for the premier membership for a limited time ($99 instead of $109). Membership benefits include access to VIP events, 10% off retail products, and the ability to reserve the spa for events and purchase gift cards at a member rate. Founding members will also get a free essential treatment in their fourth month of membership.
Leading up to the soft opening at the end of February, Spavia Day Spa at The Collection will be doing events in the community, partnering with local apartments to bring Spavia to residents.
“We try to find different opportunities to get out into the local community and get to know, who lives out there? Who are our guests? What do they like?” Loni Richards said.
Spavia Day Spa first opened in 2005 in Denver, growing to 55 locations at the end of 2023, with an additional 90 locations in development. The brand can be found in 23 states.
