Blue Moon Pizza, the pizzeria with locations in Marietta, Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, and Fort Myers, Florida, has received a building permit for renovations to its Smyrna location totaling $7,588.00. These renovations will come on the heels of recent a remodel given to the brand’s Buckhead location, which closed down last month for the work. On January 7th, the location reopened for service.

We reached out to Blue Moon Pizza president Peter Barli and are awaiting word back on the projected timeline for the renovations taking place in Smyrna. Although it was initially expected that the Buckhead location would close from December 13th to the 21st, undisclosed delays to the process kept the storefront from reopening for almost a month.

The neighborhood pizza brand, which is described as ‘craft-casual dining’, was founded in Marietta in 2003. For Blue Moon, pizza is of course the star, but you can find everything from bruschetta, meatballs, and portobello mushrooms for appetizers, to ‘creative’ salads, wings, and ‘inspired’ sandwiches for mains. And we’d be remiss for not mentioning the brand’s loaded bar.

Blue Moon Pizza Smyrna is located at 4600 West Village Place. Updates on the Buckhead remodel were posted to the brand’s social media accounts, which you can find by clicking here.
