NY ‘roadside’ burger stand coming to ATL
UPDATE (July 30, 2014): Shake Shack Now Hiring In Buckhead
Shake Shack is moving forward with plans to open its first Atlanta location at the Buckhead Atlanta mixed-use development.
The quick-serve burger and fries joint submitted a building permit application with the City of Atlanta Tuesday to begin making commercial alterations to its space at 3035 Peachtree Road.
An estimated $900,000 will be spent building out Shake Shack’s Buckhead location.
The modern day “roadside” burger stand is known for its all-natural angus beef burgers, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, craft beer and wine, and more.
Insiders suggest Shake Shack will open at Buckhead Atlanta July 7 alongside other phase one restaurants and retailers.
Shake Shack is owned and operated by Union Square Hospitality Group.
