Pizza Jeans is slated to join Citizens Market, a food hall at the upscale Phipps Plaza. It will replace Cicci Di Carne.

Pizza Jeans serves slices on naturally fermented dough in varieties like classic cheese, pepperoni, margherita, cacio e pepe, buffalo chicken, mushroom and more. Calzones, salads, wings and cannolis round out the menu.

Pizza Jeans can currently be found at Ponce City Market, where it moved to the first-floor Central Food Hall in 2022. The concept first began as a pop-up by the team behind Root Baking Co., a now-closed Southern bakery.

Native New Yorker Jeremy Gatto now owns and operates Pizza Jeans. He also owns Luca’s Brooklyn Pizzeria at Politan Row at Colony Square and Halidom Eatery.

Gatto told What Now Atlanta Pizza Jeans is expected to be open at Citizens Market after Labor Day.

“I’m really excited about it,” he said.

Pizza Jeans will join Umami Burger, Soom Soom, El Pollo Verde, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Sa’Moto, Krispy Rice, Firebelly Wings and Cultivate Food + Coffee at Citizens Market.
